Story of An Artist
Welcome to A Wright Cause. A little bit about me, I was born in Virginia, brought up in North Carolina and have lived my married life in Georgia for over 30 years and we have four treasures, 2 boys, my daughter in law and now the cutest granddaughter and soon to add another daughter in love.
My day job is hosting and being Mom to International students in our home. My other hustles are lots of creative things, like Art, Floral design and wedding work, Wool felting, Pressed flower art and painting other things besides critters.
This Critter art thing happened after I painted a few critters and gave them away and my hubs suggested donating some to charity for auction. Out of that, I now give away 25% of every animal art sale to charity.
Back in January 2017 shortly after starting this little project what I didn't know, is that I would be diagnosed with breast cancer in February of that year. It's been a wonderful outlet for me because I know this life is temporary and my greatest joy is giving. So to give back in this way makes my heart happy. To our surprise Cancer came back in 2018 and currently here in 2025 I am still cancer free. I am Very thankful!

My Work and Commissions
Below you will find samples of my work. I love painting animals, or your fur baby , and I have done everything from dogs and cats to alpacas. 25% of the purchase price goes to charity. I paint in a Portrait style, so if you want a Pet Portrait just send me an email and we will go from there.
